“Wild Wings Lodge, LLC was designed to provide a unique hunting opportunity for a select and limited number of sportsmen. The availability of quality land for goose hunting in Nebraska, Kansas & Colorado is very limited, restricted and subject to “feast or famine” conditions, with a significant price tag attached to the property in lease fees or purchase price. The property I chose, has over the past 40 years, produced consistently better than any other, from Lisco to Omaha, NE and is known for it’s Greater Canada Geese and as “The Goose Capital of Kansas!” |

Upland Game Birds
The lodge is located in an area of the Midwest which offers an abundance of native upland birds. Excellent hunting, pheasant, quail, greater prairie chicken and more are located on their land. Hunt over their English pointers or bring your own "best friends" for wild birds in native cover. The large acreage of CRP areas and acreage planted to grains, sorghum and wheat make NWKS excellent hunting for pheasant and quail. The diverse terrain provides wonderful cover, feeding and resting habitat for pheasant, prairie chickens and quail.
Geese
Kirwin Kansas is the "Goose Capital of Kansas". Visitors to the area are often awed by the impressive numbers of waterfowl, water birds, and shorebirds that pass through Northwest Kansas during their spring and fall migration. |

Canada goose hunting is Wild Wings’ specialty with seven concrete goose pits. Located adjacent to the Kirwin National Wildlife refuge, all species of migrating fowl can be viewed both from the lodge and from viewing areas provided by the refuge. In fact, approximately 80,000+ Canada geese and 90,000 mallards hold over at the annual peak of the migration at the Refuge.
The Lodge
The ranch style lodge has six bedrooms, communal dining and lounge areas, full kitchen and barbecue pit. Kennels are available for those traveling with their dogs.
